If your Knoxville-area organization or project would like to apply for support from our fund, please submit a completed Application for Support form. Applications are accepted from Jan 1 to April 15 of the current calendar year.

Instructions for Submitting an Application for Support


Your organization must be a qualified, tax-exempt organization under Sec. 170(c) of the IRS Code to be eligible to receive funds from the Knoxville Heritage Community Foundation.


The application window for all support requests is Jan 1 through Apr 1 of the current calendar year.

Complete the application and include the following:

  • your organization's IRS determination letter or proof of exempt status,

  • any additional written materials or information you believe would be helpful to the Knoxville Heritage Community Foundation in considering your request.

If your application for support is granted, someone from your group will be required to attend our special awards event (date to be determined) to receive your donation from the Knoxville Heritage Community Foundation.
