Knoxville Community Foundation donors want to support nonprofits in their communities, and they can do so with higher contributions because of the Endow Iowa Tax Credit. Donors are qualified to receive a 25% Iowa tax credit in addition to the normal federal deductions. This is a wise use of your charitable dollars and lowers your tax liability. Gifts and bequests can be donated for a specific project or left to the directors for investment. Recognizing that community needs are certain to change over time, those gifts that allow the foundation the flexibility to meet unpredictable community needs are most valuable.

 

How You Can Help

You can designate the Knoxville Community Foundation to receive gifts or bequests both large and small. Donors can make gifts with no restraint or they can designate their gifts for a special purpose if the Foundation has designated a local project for special support.
